Scouters' Winter Campout (SWC) has been an annual event for Cobb County Scouters for 40 years. It showcases the best of Cobb's three Scouting Districts: Covered Bridge, Foothills and Mountain Lake which began humbly as a training event to show adult leaders that their units could easily camp comfortably in the outdoors throughout winter months and has grown into an adult "Camporee".
SWC is a theme campout with costumes and props and games. Bring your curiosity, warm clothes, best "Scout Spirit" and other adult members of your unit for a great weekend of FUN, fellowship and inspiration!
SWC is open to all adult Scouters from the Scoutmaster with 25 years of leadership to the Den Leader who just signed up at School Night for Scouting. The program is organized to emulate the Boy Scout patrol method.
