SWC - January 12 - 14, 2001


On January 12th, 13th and 14th 17 adult leaders from Troop 750 spent their weekend at Woodruff Scout reservation participating in the 33rd anual Scouters Winter Campout (SWC). SWC was founded in 1968 to teach winter camping skills to adult leaders and thereby help promote winter camping for Boy Scouts.

Preparation began early and several working parties were organized to prepare items such as uniforms, totems and the patrol flag... Once at camp the work continues, unloading gear and setting up camp... At dawn the next day the FUN begins... And on Sunday morning, the SPL and Scoutmaster were awarded lots of usefull items...
