Skymont is a 2,460 acre tract of largely wooded land in Grundy County, TN. on the Cumberland plateau which was acquired by the Cherokee Area Council, BSA in 1968. It was previously known as Skymont Hunting and Fishing, Inc.
Skymont features include primarily wooded areas and 5 lakes which are stocked with fish.
Parents are encouraged to send their Scout mail during their stay at camp. Please advise parents to include a return address, so that mail that arrives after the Scout has departed can be returned. Out-going mail should be left at the Administration Building. In-coming mail and messages are placed in the Troop Mailbox in the Administration building.
